One for the Road? Bar Cars May Face a Last Call
says an article in the NYTimes yesterday discussing the potential fate of Bar Cars. Personally I thought new BC's were a done deal, already ordered....guess not

Hello all,
For those of you who have not heard the threat of the Bar car existence in yet upon us once more. The NY Times ran an article yesterday stating that C-DOT may not furbish new Bar Cars. Over the years there have been rumors that the sale of alcohol may or not be abolished. The last time this lunacy brought to our attention our voices where heard and the threat went away. If you enjoy the time with friends and/or co-workers on the Bar Car on the way home, and like to unwind at the end of a long day.... OUR VOICES MUST BE HEARD AGAIN. Contact Metro North @ (212) 672-1290. If the say to you this is C-DOTs responsibility, ask for that number and contact them. OUR COMMUTE IS LONG ENOUGH, LETS NOT MAKE IT LONGER BY SITTING BACK AND SAYING NOTHING !!!!
