6:40 Update and Bar Car Commmentary
For those who care, I made an inquiry into when the 6:40 may be returning to it's rightful Westbound platform and the reply that I received back from the MTA/MNRR is noted below. I must also comment on why in the hell are there 5 bar cars on a Monday night and not a Thrursday or Friday???

We regret any inconvenience the opposite side operation is causing you. The wire work is now underway on the eastbound local track in the Fairfield area, and this track will likely be out of service for the next several months. During this time, we will need to continue the opposite side operation to minimize congestion, and we hope you can bear with us as we complete this necessary work.
